Short bio

I'm a researcher at the Smart Data Factory lab of the Faculty of Computer Science, working in the broad field of knowledge representation and databases and with a clear mandate of transferring our scientific results to the world outside academia. I landed in Bolzano after five years I spent inside a small Spanish consultancy company based in Barcelona. I'm proud of having contributed in that period to the consolidation of the company and to the creation of a completely new business related to intelligent data management technologies. I've first got fascinated by mathematical logics when I was a Philosophy student in Milano. Since then, a PhD in Computer Science in Milano-Bicocca, and a four years as Assistant Professor at the KRDB Research Centre, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
