With this seminar we want to bring together researchers and educators who are specialists in different area(s) of Embodied Education (EE). We intend to create a setting where we can learn from each other for furthering research on the foundations of EE and begin developing practical approaches to EE for the benefit of students of primary and secondary education at universities, i.e., for teacher training.

During the seminar, keynote speakers will provide inspiration, and study groups will be formed around the following notions and their relation to learning and understanding:

• Emotion and the body
• Energy and the body
