Short bio

Enrico Avancini received his Bachelor´s degree in physics at University of Trento in 2012, and a M.Sc. degree in physics at Freie Universität Berlin in 2014, working as a master thesis student at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie between 2013 and 2014. He conducted doctoral studies between 2015 and 2019 at ETH Zurich, performing all research at Empa (Dübendorf, Switzerland) at the Laboratory for Thin Films and Photovoltaics (Prof. Tiwari), obtainig the title of Dr. sc. ETH Zurich with a thesis on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells. He has been postoctoral researcher at the Free University of Bolzano in 2019. He is now technologist focusing on printed nanotechnologies for sensors.
